Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your email address and a bcrypt-hashed password, when you create an account.
• Your Claude usage percentages and reset times (5-hour session and weekly), polled from claude.ai's own usage endpoint using your existing browser session.
• Session metadata when you use claude.ai: timestamps, message counts, character counts (used only to estimate token usage), and the conversation title as shown in your browser tab — which may reflect your conversation's topic.
• Project names, tags, and notes you create yourself within ClaudeScope.

What we do NOT collect

• The actual text/content of your Claude conversations.
• Your claude.ai password or login credentials — the extension uses your browser's existing claude.ai session to read usage data; that session cookie is never sent to or stored on our servers.

Optional: Anthropic Admin API key

If you choose to link an Anthropic Admin API key (to get official token counts instead of estimates), it is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and used only to call Anthropic's own Usage & Cost API on your behalf. You can unlink it at any time.

Where your data lives, and who sees it

Your data is stored in a database we operate. We don't sell it or share it with third parties, except: Anthropic (only if you link an Admin API key, for that one feature), and our email provider (only to send you account verification emails).

Security

• Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — we never store them in plain text.
• Sessions use signed tokens (JWT) that expire after 30 days.
• Linked Admin API keys are encrypted at rest, not stored in plain text.
• Rate limiting and per-account resource limits protect against abuse.

Your rights

• Export everything we have on you at any time, as CSV, JSON, or a PDF report.
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time from the dashboard ("Delete account", next to Sign out) — this is permanent and immediate.

Cookies & tracking

The dashboard itself doesn't use tracking or third-party analytics cookies. The browser extension reads your existing claude.ai session cookie locally, in your own browser, to make requests to claude.ai's usage endpoint — this value is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Changes to this policy

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
